Default Picked up a 38 14-3

I have this itch to make a hot rod center fire small bore revolver. So first I pick up a K frame 22 cylinder. Then, as I need a K frame I go shopping on Gunbroker thinking I will try to find a ratty gun preferably with adjustable sights. I find this 14-3 with a 6" barrel and rubber grips, poor pictures and description and low bids. I am not to worried about the condition as its for a project etc. So, I bid $380 and low and behold I win it. Gets here and wouldn't you know it. Way to nice to mess with, tight, 95% or better bluing hardly any wear, recoil shield is pristine. Just can't bring myself to molest it. Got a model 10 coming with a ring in the barrel. Means I have to mill it for sights and buy them, but oh well.

Serial Number is 10k129X. Any idea when it was made etc?

I think that you will really enjoy it. I picked up my 14-3 last August on G.B. Shipped & insured for $410. Put some 148gr.wadcutters in it, and you kinda have a. 22! Bob
