Default Austin Behlert 44

I have had a model 29-2, N643891, that was worked on by Mr. Behlert. It has a 2&1/2 inch barrel, ported, frame rounded, sweet trigger. In my opinion atleast 90%. Was wondering what the value might be on such a gun these days. I put a set of Hogues on it to tame recoil and to replace some ill fitting K frame square butt grips. Thanks for the input.

Did some searching on the "interweb" and found a sight that included a collector of Mr. Behlerts revolvers. Sent an e-mail and the reply was 1250 dollars for the last snubby he sold. Hope that gives those interested a ballpark figure.
