This revolver was passed along to me some time ago and I just buried it in the back of safe. I pulled it out recently and it re-sparked my interest in doing something with it. It was one of my father's favorite guns which I only saw him fire on a few occasions while growing up. I had not seen in for over 20 years when my mother gave it to me. When I received it, I noticed that the stocks have some dings on one side. I am trying to decide to leave it alone or find someone who could help restore them to their original condition. Since I have the maple case, paperwork and accessories I was leaning towards having them restored. My fear is having someone try to fix them where they may look worse. Any insight or advice on having them restored would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
