Just received this picture of a Smith .22 revolver I have the chance to purchase. I don't have it in had so cant get a serial number yet. Can you tell the model from the picture? Thanks for any help!

Looks like a four screw K22 or m-17. Very nice 22. Dave

Picture is not the best but looks like there may be a screw in the front of the trigger guard.
The diamond magnas may also support that.

It may not be model marked or it may be a 4 screw model marked 17

Thank you for the information, from how it was described, I believe it may not be model marked.
