I just aquired a good condition 28-2 Hwy with 4" barrel.

Serial is N74xx

Could anyone tell me some history on it.

Do a search for Ultimate 28 Thread. There are four pages of information there. I would say with a four digit N serial number , early 1968.
Nice gun and a lot of fans.

It would have been shipped out between late 1969 through the Spring of 1970. I have a couple in the same serial range.
