Default BIG Bore snubbies...The odd balls

Went to the range today to try out a .41 mag I picked up.
Ever since joining the Forum, and getting into N Frames, I have gravitated to the snub noses such as the Jovino's but also to the creations of other gunsmiths.
So today, I took a few to the range.

Here is the 657, round butted to K frame, installed 3" factory barrel, with the top strap milled smooth and finished with gunkote.
Before putting on the rubber grips, I had some wood ones on, and that was not fun shooting.

here it is with my 25-5 LC

also my 25-2 with the biggest ports I have ever seen

and my hard chrome 25-2 with a 3.35 barrel

and a 625 cut down to 3.5" with fibre optic sight

The m58 / 4" barrel in 41 magnum is probably as small of a barrel length as I'll go today. The 2 3/4" 357 snubbie is enough to handle with stout loads I guess I'm getting older now. If I was younger, they are purdy though.

RDRbill: Do you know who did your 25-5? Where is the new locking pin located: mounted on the barrel shroud or on the crane/yoke? Thanks. Randy

My only big bore is a 325 NG Night Guard .45ACP. Very nice carry gun though it does buck a little.

Iggy, taint ugly neethuh!!! I like it!

I'm a .38/.357 fan as a rule (I admit to owning other calibers!) so my snubs are all in that category but the ones the OP shows are all business and very impressive.

If you wanna talk odd balls, this one is about as odd as they get.

Model 28 frame
Model 25-2 barrel cut down to 3"
Model 25-5 cylinder
All put together to create a .45 Colt belly gun.

Does this qualify? A Model 28 converted to .45 Colt and round-butted, 3 3/4" barrel...

While three of the four may not be odd balls, they are also not seen every day.

Top left: 629-3 Lew Horton
Top right: 629-6 Camfour
Bottom left: 25-2 Jovino
Bottom right (just happened to be in the photo)
