Looks like late 1980 or early 1981.

All of the 91K numbers were slated for issue in 1981. It is, therefore, nearly certain that your Model 19-4 was produced in that year.

Thanks for the information. It likes Hornady custom 158 gr. XTP 38 spl.s which will be the carry round for it. Purchased in upstate NY for $699 (FYI). Take Care.

Good choice on the ammo. I always liked the standard pressure Hornady 158 XTP round.
