what year mfg ??
1-7/8" barrel.
Stamped on yoke: Model 36 ..numbered: 51466 on yoke & inside handle
Butt #: J-326321

That number is listed as 1975, (J25001-J37000).

To me, it looks like the OP's gun has a J and 6 numbers, OldChief is listing a J plus 5 numbers.

Sounds like a .455 Mark II Hand Ejector 2nd Model, made 1915-1917
(serial number range 5001-74755) according to the Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson 4th Edition. It should have a butt swivel for a lanyard. I think the crossed flags (pennants) indicate it's one of 14,500 made for Canadian service.
Post a picture and others with more expertise will be able to tell you more about your revolver.

Yeah, he just left out a zero in each case. His date is correct (1975-76 = J250001-J370000).
