Smith & Wesson 66 - 2 Ruger Security Six 4 inch barrel pre-warning both 4 inch 357 Ma

I need to downsize one more gun I'm debating between my 4 inch stainless steel Ruger Security Six with a pre-warning barrel or my for in a Smith & Wesson 66 - 2 what would you keep what would you sell and why?

Keep your S&W 66-2. It will only go up in value. Can't say the same for the Ruger.

I don't know about that:
If it were a P&R'd 66-1, then maybe.
A Security Six pre-warning sure ain't going down.
I lean towards keeping the Security Six. They are kinda special.

I have a 66-2 and a matching set of 2-3/4" security and speed sixes. I have dressed up the 66 with new laminate stocks and a Tyler t-grip and a contrasting polished- brushed finish. It's a beautiful thing but I would sell it before considering selling one of my sixes. Not because they are better but they are harder to find - I recently bought the speed six here on the forum after waiting about 2 years For one to come up for sale. 66's come up for sale pretty regularly. Sixes have jumped in price pretty dramatically in the last few years. Just my 2 cents.

What others said about the Rugers; they are going up in
prices, especially a pre-warning model.

On my state trading forum, I see 66s offered all the time
but the Rugers command more attention.
