2 very nice finds, Model 57 and 629 no dash
Had a good week at the LGS, found these 2 beauties. First is a Model 57 no dash from 1980, P&R, been shot, but not much.
The 2nd is a 629 no dash, P&R with box and tools, looks like it’s never been shot, extremely clean.

Man you do not find them like that anymore .Nice . I had a 629 no dash 4in P/R sold it then got the same one back years later ,sold it again .

Two nice revolvers. I never see the 629 no dashes around here. Come to think of it, the 57s arent around either. Enjoy.

Cool finds. The square butt Combat stocks on the model 57 are a bit newer than the original Target stocks that came on the gun (probably the same style as those on the 629) but don't let them get away, they are worth a bit more than an original set.

Excellent find, I would be proud to have those 2 beauties take up residence in my safe. I’m still kicking myself for passing up a 6” 57 a few years back. Congrats

Great guns but I am partial to the 629 I have a -1 but the no dash has alluded me well I guess I should say I have seen a couple but not in that condition and not when cash was available ,those are truly great thanks for showing off ahh umm I mean shareing .
