Recently, I have been looking for a 4" Model 15 to add to my collection. I came across this beautiful little 2" version that I just couldn't say no to. From the looks of it, this revolver has been shot very little, if at all.

It's a Model 15-3 with a serial number of 8K59xxx.

Sir, you are almost as bad as I am. Just bought a nice but used model 36, I found in the for sale section, here. All I was planning on doing was posting a few photos for a friend:eek:

Great find, I have a close relative.
My serial is 8K82xxx
Picked it up last summer.
Most accurate snub I ever owned.

Actually mine 15-3 X 2" will arrive today 1973). Same condition as yours. Hard to tell if it was fired. I did manage to get a super deal on a 4" same condition a month ago, but no box. I have a WTB ad going for a 6" but no luck. I want a 2, 4, 6 collection.

Good luck with yours, beautiful find!

2" , 4" , and 6" barrel is a set, but the collection is Blue and Nickel. My wife inherited a nickel 4" M19 from her father. I found out that collections really look much better than just the set. It made 'gift shopping' for her very easy. :D

Congratulations on that "BEAUTY". I looked for 1 for around 2 years off & on, and gave up. Ended up with a 10-5 snub instead. Later got a 66-2. Am happy with them, but would still like the 15. Enjoy! Bob

I had been looking for one for several years and was finally able to grab one. Whether they have any practical use or not is irrelevant. They are just plain cool looking. You will be happy with yours.

I have to agree that they are really cool looking. Out of all the S&W revolvers, these 2" 15's and the 3-1/2" Model 27's are the most unique looking in my opinion.....:)

Exactly! I don't see the need for the adjustable sights but I love mine, anyway. It just happens to play third fiddle to my Model 10 and Model 64 snubbies.
