I just picked up this nice 67 locally. According to the 4th Ed of the SCSW it's from 1975; 6K42XXX serial number. Unfortunately it doesn't have the original grips but the timing and lock up are spot on. It came with the Pachs and new set of magnas (both of which will be going up for sale lol). I want to add some football targets of the proper vintage but nothing fancy-just good serviceable walnut.
Also does anyone know what year the sight switch happened?
There are a few nicks/scratches here and there but for just fun shooting and keeping handy around the house I'm ok with them. Hope to hit the range either tonight or tomorrow to see how it shoots. Hard to not like a classic .38spl
