When was my 29-2 made?
I have a 29-2 I just acquired, the guy I got it from believed it was made between 1975-76 i can find anything to determine if that's true or not. The serial number is N307XXX has a 6½ barrel and original grips. What value would you put on a firearm like this one? Lock up is tight original case don't have the cleaning kit yet, it's in the mail I'll have it in a few days. The insert in the box has one spot under the cylinder that's worn through.

Your 29-2 probably shipped in the first half of 1976.

Thanks y'all I think I paid a good price on it then, had to drive three hours but it was worth it the moment I looked at it. There's a pawn shop in town that has a nickle 8⅜ barrel one for $1,300 but it doesnt look in as good of condition and it doesnt lock up as tight as mine.

You have a very nice revolver there.
Here's my 29-2 (1971) that a picked up in June of 18 for much less than they're going for today. I still have the original grips but have added a set of Culina walnut targets.
