I need some help deciding on a reasonable offer to make for a M31-1 with flat latch and 3” barrel. A bit of corrosion spotting: probably 90-95% finish.
As with other S&Ws prices are up a little for nice ones. Last one I bought in May of this year was a 2 inch 30-1 showing some blue wear and dings, 90+% or so, $325. The one before that was another 2 inch 30-1 but much nicer for $485. Where I shop I'd expect to find one priced as you've described with original grips in the $350-$500 range and try to buy it for $350 or less. Good luck.
