Hello Everyone,
After the numerous recommendations to search for the Tyler T Grips, I started asking around.
A long-time customer and friend of the family thought he had an aluminum T Grip for the K frame. I was excited when he said that. He told me he was gonna go home that night and dig around for it.

He ended up having an aluminum T Grip in good shape, but for a J frame...I was very happy.
He threw in the grips too. They aren't particularly my style, but he said they needed to stay with the T Grip. They had been together for a long time.

Wow! Pinned and recessed, old school hammer bob, pearl panels with a period perfect engraved T-grip. That ain't a J-frame Sam - that's a pure bred Roscoe now.

Thanks for the post. Best looking J I've seen in a year.

Pinned, but not recessed (.38’s didn’t get recessed cylinders) ;)

That setup, including the bobbed hammer, was my backup for 35 years. A 60 no dash. Still have it. I like yours.

JScott,
Very cool! I bought this gun off a man that had it for nearly 30 years (same guy who just sold me the pearl grips & T Grip).
He saw my love for early smith snubs and gave me a deal. I will NEVER part ways with this gun.

Love the look but even a all steel J-frame jumps around too much in my hand with only two fingers aboard. I use grips that fill the fist. Now, a K-frame RB Model 10 snub with a Tyler is about perfect for my hand.
