Default Does the N stamp mean my M36 is factory nickle?

I have an M36, circa 1980ish, pinned barrel and it is nickle finished. It has this N under the barrel. There is also an N on the cylinder face. Does this mean that the gun was factory nickled. Thanks

It is nothing special. It was carried for years by a previous owner(s) and the nickle shows it. The hammer was also home bobbed. I bought it carry myself. I have a really nice one that I do not want to carry. This was was cheap and is perfect to carry.
