This one appears to be from 1981, well after the flat latch went away (about 1966).

Thanks Murphy Dog, gee I might not be up tonight till 2am est. I haven't checked my new blue book, I know Colt has serial number ranges in there, I have a little Colt blue pocket guide to serial numbers, but it is like me, getting very old, LOL, I'm 67 and feel like 103 now, up until I had a "major Malfunction" I felt real good, even though I was 6' 233 pounds, Now I'm 5' 10 3/4 inches and weigh 207, but feel awful, I'm a mess from the waist down, and now had rotator cuff surgery back in Dec... Oh well, Like Betty Davis said, gettin old ain't for sissy's , or something like that, thanks again guys, The malfunction happened 10 yrs ago, lucky to be alive ... Thanks again.
