Saved 29-2 4inch
So a close friend of mine who is probably one if not they best 1911 smiths in the business occasionally does revolvers. Soooo I had a 29-2 that was bubbafied. Trigger job was terrible and unsafe and a few other items that were just not right. It was well worn from living under the seat of a truck, but I don’t think fired very often. So I asked Ted if he would give it a make over, after some begging he reluctantly said yes but its going to take awhile I am booked up for a few years, I said no problem. Every once in a while I would stop in and we would solve the worlds problems and he would say, I haven’t forgot about that thing you want me to fix. I smiled and said I know your busy and we would go back to other conversations knowing the end result of the gun was gong to be fantastic. Well today he sent a few pics and said come on by tomorrow its done. I am thrilled, what a transformation. Going into the reloading room to get some 44 Mags ready for the range.
