You did great if it’s a 2” barrel.

You paid about market for 4” and a bit too much for 6”

Just my opinion of course.

Sorry. I don’t pay enough attention to the details of the K38 transition to model numbers 14 and 15.

Not until 1986, when the Model 14/15 lines were merged. Certainly not in the Model 15-3 period.

I would pay $750.00 all day long for a Model 15 in that condition.

Congratulations!

$750 for a NIB Model 15-3 with the 2 inch barrel is a very good deal in 2024.

I think that you did great, IMO, 750 is a heckuva deal. There's a NIB 14-4 on rimfirecentral for $1,100 and I'm surprised it's not sold yet.

They say that the 2" 15 thinks it is a 4" model in terms of accuracy. Congratulations! Bob

I had a 2in 15-3 for a brief time. Traded an M1 Garand for it. Came to me with finish issues and I came to believe it had been refinished. It went down the road in another trade. I always thought I. Hold get another but I haven’t run across one since. Wish I had kept it. You got a great deal!
