It's 3/8, Time for Another Gun Show
I'll start off with a satin nickel 38-3.

Wish I had one, but all I have is a 638-3. It's a great little revolver. I really like the looks of the finish on your 38.

So, technical question. Are we limiting this to the model 38, because, you know, .38 specials...

I think we are suppose to stick with the Bodyguards, but I'm not running this show. Just ignore the 649.

Here is my favorite Model 38 Sauer. It is a "Model 38" and it does have a hammer. This is a commercial model, with the safety, and the cocker/decocker feature. I have shot it and it is a sweet little pistol. It is a safe queen now

Here's my sole model-marked Bodyguard Airweight. It's from the
first year of the J serial numbers, shipped in November 1969.

Finally got around to the best J frame family ever made....
As someone once said, that's the Thinking Man's J-frame.

Can't top SmithNut, so I'll keep it simple.
Blue and nickel Model 49s, a 649, and one of my two 640s.
Not shown is a Model 638.
The 649 now has imported smooth grips with a miniature badge inlaid in the right side. It also has my retirement info engraved in the side plate.
