I was looking through a gun buyers guide the other day, and in the description of the Model 29, it said there was quite a premium for the 29-2. Is this correct, and why?

There is no premium for the 29-2 as it was made from 1962 to 1982. Perhaps the reference meant the 29-1, for which there is a significant premium.

Or possibly they were referring to the fact that the 29-2 was still P&R, and as such are more desirable than the -3 and later guns.
