just recently picked up a model 60 no dash serial # r7349. Anyone know what year it was made???

If I were a betting man I'd bet on Alan's estimate.
Two in the database that bracket your new Model 60 are these:
R7146 -- shipped in August 1969
R7714 -- shipped in February 1970
S&W neither produced nor shipped revolvers in serial number order
so it's always a guess unless you pay $100 to get a letter from the
S&W Historical Foundation. It will tell you the date it shipped and
to whom.
