I'd have to go with Dirty Harry Callahan or Ranger J.J. McQuade (or even Cordell Walker, Texas Ranger). But don't forget about Jack Cates (Nick Nolte, "48 Hours") or Eugene Tackleberry (David Graf, "Police Academy")!

You all can choose but don't mess with Chuck. Detective Callahan was bad to the bone. Bond, as I recall, on the other hand was usually armed with a Walther PP. I suppose he really didn't want to hurt anyone too bad.
Don't know who Travis Bickel is. Roger Moore is NOT James Bond. So it has to be Harry Callahan. Actually I kind of liked Joe Piscopo and His 88 Magnum.

) in the movie Taxi Driver. I don’t know what all the hype about that movie is…I didn’t watch it until almost 40 years after it came out, then couldn’t sit through the whole thing.BigMuddy

Lone Wolf McQuade… my favorite “bad” movie, has the coolest gun. 6 1/2” Engraved Nickel carried in a Bianchi 111, finger groove oversized grips, reeks of COOL. Terrible acting though.
Jack Cates’ 4” sure holds a lot more ammo than mine. “Did I shoot 15 or 16?”
