Welcome to the Forum Neighbor and WAR EAGLE!
You being a k frame guy might want to get rid of that!!
You have a Rd butt N frame distributed by Lew Horton, in blue, 44 magnum, made mid 1980's and should have fingergroove combat wood grips.

I guess that was my question, if it was a Lew
horton?
Not being a pinned barrel threw me.
Fellow I got it from, says it has never been fired. I'll remedy that this weekend.

Does it look like this? Mine is a Lew gun or so I have been told. I paid $605.00 a few months back.

Yep, that's a twin to mine.
According to the fellow I got it from, it's unfired. I plan to shoot it Sunday.
Thanks guys. I had researched the S&W standard catalog and was pretty sue it was a Lew Horton, but wasn't positive.

good evening forum friends.
I was able to take that 3" 29 out today.
Shot it along with my 4" nickel 29, and 4" 629.
Oh and BTW, I did take a k-frame. a 6" nickel 19.
Very proud of that 3".
