Default MODEL 36 QUESTION

Recently picked up a Model 36 made in 1977-78, it has the pinned barrel but no countersinking of the cylinder. When did this go away?

Only magnums had the countersink or recessed cylinder feature and only through the dash 4 change. The .38 special never had this. So, shoot and enjoy

Nice Chiefs Special, What happened to the turn line? It seems to be missing.

Just for the record I just got through handling an N Frame older 45 Colt that had the recessed cylinder, the exception to the Magnum or?
