I certainly don't want to be banned because of poor etiquette, but I simply love Chief Specials, so here's some pics of my limited arsenal. Please don't leave my girls out here all alone!

Need a reason? No, not really, just about any old excuse will do. My M36 was pretty rough when I bought it for $150. Carried by a real estate agent in her purse with all her keys, the blue was scratched up all over. A warm bath in a bowl of parkerizing solution was my cure for the cosmetic problems. Makes it look even more "business like" to my eye.

Rather than search for a speedloader, I just bought another gun.

No safe queens here . . . just nice old "working" guns . . .

I love "snubbies" in all the various S&W frame sizes . . . but my J frames are "always" kind of guns!

I took off and saved the original "diamond" stocks on the nickle plated 1964 Model 36 no dash, and dressed it up with a pair of Executioner (Grashorn) Stags.

My '71 blued Model 37 Airweight is still waiting on its set of stags, but at least I've added Tyler T grips on all of 'em.

Patrick Grashorn's marvelous stags also adorn my big "snubbie," a 1980 chopped barrel M25-2.

Not pictured . . . my wife's carry revolver . . . a 1971 Model 37 Airweight, square butt with a 3" barrel.

Heard some sniffling coming from my lock-up box this morning, it was this 3" Model 36 complaining that I had left her out of the post!

These Chief Specials are my wife's and my CCWs. The wife's is the pre-37, circa 1954, mine is the Model 36, circa 1961. Both were local LEO trade ins. Greg
