I'm afraid I don't have the fur lined 2 tone floral carved rig this deserves. But...I'm working on it.

Nice gun Pace, I like the engraving pattern on it. Someday I'll have a gun scratched up like yours. Would be nice to pull it out of the safe and admire it as its wiped down. Larry

Showoff. Really pace ,holy sh**. Is that a late shipped 5 screw?
Feb. 1958 is a while after the order to delete the upper sideplate screw was initiated.
Maybe the 5" wasn't a popular caliber in that timeframe. What's the Ser.# I have S176xxx and it's a 4 screw.
Wow ,damn ,,that engraving is beautiful. I wouldn'n wear that to no b.b.q. I'd wear it to Church!
Later alligator ,,AL

My daughter is in the other room watching videos on Youtube, so the internet is a little slow. I read the first line and waited for the pictures to load; it took just long enough for me to start to cringe in sympathy. Beautiful.

Thanks for the great comments all.
Al, s/n is 173xxx. Definitely a late ship for a 5 screw.
Oh, and I shot it about 12 times today. 4 of the shots are in the first post.

Now, those are scratches that would be welcome in my safe ANY DAY!
Beautiful! Any idea as to who the engraver was?
