You'll love it but hang on tight when/if you fire +P from the little guy.

Be safe.

It will be for occasional pocket carry. When I have to have a tucked shirt. I am retiring my 55 year old Chief Spl.

I like mine a lot. The 15oz weight does not soak up too much +P recoil. It bangs the hell out of my index finger joint but putting on a band-aid before I go through 100 rounds of +P does make it pleasent to shoot. I had to do away with the boot grip for a larger Hoague grip as I could only get two fingers on the grip with my pinky hanging in mid-air. I do like the larger grip. I do not do any "pocket carry".....Just a cheap nylon holster in my waistband. It will ride there all day and I hardly know that it is there. The J-frame is a fine choice when I am not carrying my 1911.

It's my 1st gun, I qualified for my HCP with itand I can only shoot 38 spl in it. It's a beauty for the age and I want to have it just to look at every once in a while.
