Gotta check those gunshows
Stopped by my small town's annual gunshow today. Saw a refinished in Nickel "S" series Model 57 6" with some really nice cokes on it, but the hammer and trigger had been nickeled as had the rear sight. Asking price was $1k.
But what I really was happy to find were 2 pairs of Farrant stocks. Unfortunately, they both fit Colt "I" frames, but for $50 for the pair, I couldn't not buy them.

S&W wheel gun prices are going STRAIGHT UP. Especially the ones in good shape or with boxes. Every day is a new record day on G-brok.

I have a number of Farrant grips; two on a couple of Kit Guns, one on a 3" HB J-frame and one on a Colt HB Police Positive. Just curious as to what these grips go for now?

Nice catch on the Fuzzy Farrant grips; you can make a few dollars if you sell them.
Or buy some Colts...

Wow, my guns grips have about the same worth as the handguns they're on!
S&W 3" HB. Grips checkered palm swell on one side, smooth, no palm swell on side to clothing.
S&W 63. Double smooth palm swell. Grip ends at bottom of frame.
Colt Police Positive. Checkered palm swell one side, smooth on the other side, no swell.

Those are the first Farrant grips I've seen without finger grooves. But I bet he would do it if you asked nicely. I used to live a short distance from Fuzzy and was able to order several pairs in person.

Also unusual for the two finger length - and the J frame looks K frame size. Special order or modified? NY Specials?
IMHO the sellers asking $500-$600 on ebay are wildly optimistic. That they've been sitting for months with no takers would seem to confirm that.
