Keith Brown creation in ivory
I have long admired the high quality of Keith Brown’s wood stocks but have always wanted a pair of ivory K target stocks. Many years ago I purchased a piece of walrus tusk ivory that I hoped one day to have made into a nice pair. I approached Keith at Columbus and he agree to undertake the challenge. He was able to create the following work of art which highlights the unique grain structure of the tusk.
My compliments to a true professional!

I had Keith craft these to match grips on a Jerry Campbell gun.
The bottom of the grip was altered so it would not wear on suit coats.

This thread sums up my anger and frustration with Photobucket and their decision to essentially lock away pictures that they had previously hosted.

Wow guys what a great thread I have seen a couple of KBs grips on here but this really shows why you guys love his work .Talk about art meeting functionality now I have to find a gun that deserves a set of his grips and get on the list ,huh wife isn't speaking to me because of my last gun acquisition it will last maybe 2 more days if I get a high end revolver and order high end grips it should be worth at least another week of peace and quiet marritial bliss. Thanks !

If I recall correctly, Keith had stopped taking orders for a little while.
He may be taking orders again now. He has a backlog, but they are worth the wait.

I've had the pleasure of spending time with Keith and his wife at a couple of symposiums, he likes to vex me by musing about how he'd like to make some holsters some day, he's made a couple in the past....
I want to be first in line if and when he does.
A 5" model 27-2 with smooth Magnas.

A pair of KB Ropers on my model 57. I shoot with these, they feel as good as they look.

Another perk of joining the SWCA & attending the symposiums- Keith is there and has a table.
Regards,
turnerriver

I don't believe Keith is taking orders yet, still a year behind or more. He is an artist with wood and because of his ability, orders came in steady and set him way behind. Nice person, he shows up at the NE Ohio Bunch occasionally. September 23 is the next bunch. Larry

Nothing in that picture qualifies for the word "simple". Unless, simply beautiful.
