Default Value Estimate on a 29-2 4" w/blue loss

I'm looking for rough value opinions for a 29-2 4" blued revolver. Here is the description and story... Made in 1980 and purchased by the original owner to use as a back up gun on once in a lifetime big game hunt in Canada or Alaska. Carried on hunts for one fall and left in holster which probably had higher moisture content from being in the northern country. Over a short time this caused the bluing on the majority of the cylinder to discolor and in a way dissolve to a blotchy grey. Some of the cylinder slots still retain the original bluing. The frame just above the trigger guard is also discolored and has bluing loss in an area 1.5" x.5" on both sides. This loss is not from wear, but improper storage. Barrel and ejector shroud, frame around the S&W emblem, top of frame on both sides, and back-strap still retain original bluing, though there is some smaller darker spots in a few locations. I would estimate with the cylinder that 60-70% original bluing remains. No pitting or rust. Lock up and end shake are very good. Recoil shield is shiny blue and shows no rings from being fired alot. Bore and inside cylinders are excellent. Cylinder star has sharp edges. All frame screws are unbuggered. Original target grips in very good condition with minimal wear. Frame under stocks show no rust or pitting and no line from stocks. When discoloring/disappearing finish was discovered, original owner placed a coat of cold bluing over the entire cylinder and on the sides of frame wear the original bluing was discolored/missing. Gun was placed in a gun safe and has not been fired in last 10 years and fired very little on an occasional target shooting trip since used for the back up gun. RR WO TT TH TS. This revolver is a prime candidate for factory reblue or to leave as is and pack without any concern about creating wear. I have attached an amateur photo. Thanks for your opinions on its value!
