Price check,Model 29-6

Local shop has just received a Blue 8 3/8`s 29-6.Has a set of Hogue rubber grips,and a nice set of football targets on it.Has a very small speck of rust halfway down the barrel.Appears to be unfired.Owner said he would price it and for me to stop tomorrow.He doesn`t get many S&W N frames,but is usually fair.

Said today he is asking 500.00,deal or no deal? I don`t think I have ever seen a -6 variation,are they common?

500.00 is a good deal to me. i see them at gun shows for around 600 to 800 bucks.

I went and put money on it. I figure the -6 should be a good strong gun for a shooter.As a side note he lowered the price since I have helped him in the past with gun related problems. Life is good.

A 29-6 will have the "endurance package", a hammer-nose firing pin and no lock. Should be an excellent choice as a shooter...................should hold up well even with hot loads.

Just paid 550 for my 29-6 6" bbl. Thought that was a fair price.
