Price check M29-3

I'm away from home at present and so don't have my normal resources nearby. I ran across a very clean M29-3 today. 4" barrel, box and papers, seldom fired and in good shape. Offered at 850 out the door.

Seems a tad high to me but compared to the price of a new .44, well quite good.

What are these going for these days?

Any used pre lock N frame in decent shape is 500.00 and up. This is about 100.00 too much even for the Bay Area. ( Imbert and Smithers ?)

Not Imbert's. I'm a few hundred miles north at the moment. Gun seemed high for down there and higher still for up here.
