Default New 686 sight options.

Hey guys I picked up my Talo 686 yesterday. 5 1/2 inch barrel, 7 shot, non fluted cylinder, round butt. The fit seems really nice but it does have the dreaded canted barrel. So I want to put a holographic site on it. This will be my plinking gun. I seen where J Point has a nice looking sight and there base I love. Its called a direct frame contact or something like that. The base fits down in the old site groove and drops the site lower. Do any of you have any experience with this setup? Also I want to remove the front site. Does anybody make a filler piece of some kind to fill in the old sight notch?
