Default Model 27-3 performance center

Correction: I am told it is a 27-8. My local gunshop just purchased one from a customer. Eight shot nickel with not much room between the cylinder holes for the cartridge. Has box and paperwork. Might be unfired. Sweet trigger but what I thought might be a high price---$1,095.00.

Tell me about that price, please. Good, fair, high ??

Thanks.

I'm no expert but I think that should be a M27-7. The SCSW has a suggested retail price of $775 but the book is a few years old. A local shop has a M327 PC marked $899. Hope this helps.

Thumbs up

If you are referring to a 3 1/2", nickel, 8 shot, model 27, Registered Magnum, MSRP on that revolver is $1,699. This is a Lew Horton Distributor Exclusive offering from about 3 years ago. Only 250 were produced.

There is no reference in the SCSW on these firearms because they were not introduced until after the SCSW third edition was printed. Comparing the price to a 327 is unfair since the 327 is a standard cataloged item that may be produced in unlimited quantity.

The price is not bad for that revolver, but it is no steal either.

Thanks for the replies, guys. Yes, it is the 3 1/2" nickel model. I might make an inquiry into what the manager might take for it. Any concern with the thin wall between each cartridge in the cylinder ?

Thanks.

Thanks, Camster for the correction. I must have misread the tag. I will edit my thread.
