Thumbs up New 2 1'2 inch J frames

I was noticing that S&W is offering the J frame in 2 1/2" now. Anyone have any thoughts on them? I'm thing about getting a stainless bodyguard, but now I'm not sure if I want the 1 7/8" or the longer one. I hope I can see them side-by-side to compare.

My 640-1 has a 2 1/8 inch barrel and I don't see a difference in carry over my std 36.
