Default 617 gets "stocked"

I picked up this 4" 617 recently but it wore Pachmayr Compacs. While at a gun show last weekend I picked up probably the nicest set of round butt service stocks I've seen. I think it looks much better now.

Magnas look -and feel- great on K frames.
This is the last photo I took of my 617...

617 gets "stocked"-img_0278-15-knip-jpg

I DID take off these stocks, for the Model 18-2 I traded this one for.
The 6" was too muzzle-heavy for me to shoot 50 rounds or more comfortably.
And I always wanted a Combat Masterpiece.
