boco,
The PC called their guns Carry Comp models, but there were other factory revolvers that had the large expansion chamber type comp, these were called Powerport models. I'm not personally aware of a M629 with 5" barrel, will look further, I recall them being 6 or 6 1/2" barreled guns.
If the gun you are looking at does not have the PC logo, I'd look at regular production.

Hi SmithNut!

I am a new member here and this is my first post.

I realize this post is a couple of years old now but came across it while researching a S&W Model 629 with the product code 103624; the same as what you noted above.

I tried to view the jpg of the "flyer" you mentioned but it seems (now anyway) to be in a password protected album.

I'd like to see this flyer or receive a copy of the flyer. Hoping you can help.

ZT

Thanks for your reply Jesse'

I realize the original poster was asking about a 629 Carry Comp. I was more interested in seeing the flyer SmithNut posted.

As SmithNut noted, the product code 103624 indicates a 6-1/2" 629 just like one I have recently acquired. I'd like to see the "flyer" he posted (or linked to). I have been unable to view the image.

Any help appreciated! ZT
