Default Possible to Port a 640 Pro Series?

I know there's debate about whether or not porting makes any difference, etc but I'm curious if a 640 pro with the fluted 2" barrel could be ported? I have a ported Charter Arms Pug 357 and believe me, porting makes a huge difference in terms of felt recoil, at least on that gun.

Well, I had a ported snubby for all of one night-shoot qualification. Two things contributed to my ridding myself of it the next day. First, was the fire-ball that killed all night-vision. Second, was the blast from the ports that literally blew my cap off in close-quarter, close-body shooting. I, personally, will never own another ported snubby.

Welcome to the forum, Dondo7.

You're asking if the porting can be done, not if it should be done. The answer is yes, and there are many reputable houses that will do it. Gemini Customs is one -- might want to give them a look.
