Default Treasure Hunting

Something tugged on me to take a little extra cash to work today. I was going out of town, and had a few minutes to kill at lunch, so I hit a local pawn shop. BAM! I found a nice full lug 4 inch 686-1! I was able to to persuade the rather lovely little lady into letting me have that 686 for $400 out the door.

I feel like I hit a home run! It is a great gun, and for that price, I just could not pass it up.

Anybody else surfing the pawn shops with any luck?

I tried one last week and found a gently used Sigma 9mm (I've been looking for one for a while). It was marked at $399.99 and she wanted every penny of it. In fact, she seemed insulted when I informed her that NIB you could get one at the local Academy's for $299.99 - and that's without the $50.00 rebate.

Regards,

Dave
