Default Finally Found 60-9

I've been looking for quite a while.
Today all of the star charts aligned.

This revolver fits my leather pocket holster.
After a quick range session it will go into the EDC rotation.

I found it in a local pawn shop.

Now the search begins for a pair of Bianchi Lightning Grips.
I've been looking for a pair of those grips for quite a while too.
All that I find are higher than a cat's back.....come on luck!

What is special about the dash 9? Is that the first iteration chabered in 357 or something?

Yes it's the first with the J Magnum Frame and shoots 357 Magnum.

Plus, it doesn't have the internal lock like the later J frame magnums.

Plus some of the early guns had forged parts.

Congratulations! I felt the same way about the 60-7 I bought last year.

What is the going value of a 60-9 in 357? That looks very nice! And will that short of an ejector even eject 357 reliably?

Nice. With forged parts the only thing missing would be P&R

My price was $350 out the door.
The range trip will tell on the 357 ejection.

I have a Model 60-9. It's a great gun. I usually shoot .38s in it although .357 Golden Sabers work fine. If you swat the ejector rod like you are supposed to, 357 cases eject cleanly. I can pocket carry mine if I am wearing the right shorts.
