I caught Clint Eastwood in the movie Blood Work this weekend and loved the snubby he used. It was definitely a Smith and Wesson and had a slab sided snubby barrel.

Anyone know the exact model used in the film?

I've got to have one!

Did it look like this ? I just saw it on 1911 forum .

I quit keeping track when he was forced to use that auto-mag because of his deficientcies in weapon retention .
I'll stick with old blue and three speed loaders .

There are quite a few threads on the Bloodwork gun. There are a couple of recent ones. The UDR came with the unfluted cylinder. Several of us have sent them back to the factory for a new unfluted one.

The model 327 Night Guard is the alloy version of that 627 used by Clint. I bought one last month, and so far I have enjoyed shooting it. It weighs only about 27-28 ounces empty. I don't like the round butt Pachmayers and have ordered some Altamont rosewood conversions for it (30 day backorder). Hope this helps!!
