I only recently started shooting the 41mag. I picked up an old no-dash model 57 with a six inch barrel from a friend. What a nice shooting revolver.

My dad got one and he is very happy with it. He has shot it quite alot, recoil is stiff but he got it for it's light weight. He has 657 w/6" barrel, but wanted a lighter carry handgun in 41mag for hunting and as a carry gun for bear problems when fishing, etc.

My 357PD is holding up fine after 300 rounds of ammo.

If or when I can find either one of these guns at a half way decent price, it will be mine! From what I have read and talked to people about, these are the ideal big bore carry pistols. But I also am a 41Magnum lover.
