Thumbs down The reason I lock my revolver is...

Intergrading the internal lock on a revolver is a virtuous and vicious circle of hand gun evolution? Just goes to show, you shouldn't monkey around with firearms.

Ok, this is a dumb thread, but so is the internal lock on revolvers/pistols.
I just can't think of any good ligitiment reason for the internal lock.
What is the thinking behind it?

Just play the game.
Why do you lock your revolver?

The reason I lock my revolver is...
The reason I lock my revolver is...so the kids can play with it.
