Default Holster Recomendations for S&W 315 NG

Well, It seems I am having some trouble finding a holster for my K frame 315 night guard. Idealy i would like an inside the waistband holster for it. I have a few K frame holsters and none will work due to the high front sight. Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated. Pics would be a plus! Thanks

I like Chris at LFL Home Page. He is local and was given a great write up in "American Handgunner". He makes a great IWB holster that's very popular among CCW holders around here. It is about a 3 month wait and he will place the clip where you want it and at the angle you want it. I had one for a 296 airlite ti I had which was an L frame and it carried comfortable. The best part is the price which I believe is about $45 dollars. Here us a pic of the one he made me for my 640-1 after 5 years of daily carry. If you can dream it he can make it. He worked for Lawrence in the seventies then went to NC and spent 10 years at Gould and Goodrich in NC as a designer and special order maker. He puts a inner layer of kydex at the top of the holster so it stays open after you draw the weapon. Good luck.

Try Ray at Lobo Gun Leather - Home or Tom at
Saguaro Gun Leather - Home Excellent work on both counts and for a reasonable cost.

+1 for Lobo Gun Leather, he knows how to build a holster. He is reasonable on price as well. I'm on the schedule for an N-frame pancake right now, and I've already got my next holster in mind.

Default Galco Summer Comfort

I just picked up the Galco at the local gun shop for my 325NG (N-frame). Carries and conceals very well. Still looking for a permanent home.

I tried the galco route but they don't make anything for my k frame outside of a paddle for some reason. Not even a summer comfort. I like the galco stuff, i have a few of their holsters. It apears that i will need ot go custom though.
