Default 629 No Dash Worth Buying?

I've been interested in buying a "shooter" 629-4 in 4" for a while to wear in the woods. Today I came across a 6" 629 no dash that I could buy for $585 out the door, maybe a bit less. The cylinder is not as tight as I would like, but other than that it's in good shape. It has the stock "football" concalo alves stocks in good shape, no scratches or chips. It's a bit dirty but not scratched. I think with a little cleaning and some mag polish it would clean up fine. Trigger both SA and DA feels good.
Is this a gun that might be a wise investment even though the cylinder is a bit loose? Serial number is N7770xx.
Your opinions appreciated...

If it looks good otherwise, I'd buy it. Then send it off to S&W for a tune up.
The gun is worth the money because it's pinned and recessed. On the auction sites, they go crazy for them.

Ummmmm, maybe. If you plan on ALOT of magnum shooting then pass on it and get a post E pkg 629. If you don't mind hevy 44 speicls with the occasional mag then snap it up! My 629 no dash is my fav 44 mag bar none.
