Default Got it tonight - 386PD 6-shot & accessories (now with pics)

As the title states, I just picked up my new 386PD 6-shot from the dealer. It fits in the hand nicely and the weight (mix of scandium/aluminum/stainless parts = 24.5oz empty) feels perferct when loaded. I haven't had a chance yet to shoot it, but hope to in the next week.

Then out of blind luck a local LEO supply shop was having a going out of business sale and I picked up a Don Hume Enhanced Double Nine thumb break holster and a double speed loader pouch for $20 total. Plus I also picked up 2 HKS and 2 Safariland Comp II speed loaders also for $20.

I'm a happy camper tonight .

Got a question though. Can anyone tell me what year this gun was manufactured? I can't find any information on this configuration of the 386PD.

Default I got one of those!

Nice looking set-up.

Any chance you can get another holster?

I have not been able to find much about this 6 shooter. It would be good to know if anyone else has any info on these.
Congrats.

I would make a guess that it was made in the 2003-2006 time frame. (but that is a guess)

I have the 386 SC Mountain Lite 7 shot and I absolutely enjoy it. I de-locked my, bobbed the hammer, had the action smoothed, charge holes chamfered, installed a cylinder and slide extreme duty rear sight, xs standard dot front sight and hide-out grips and it is the perfect packing pistol. The Mountain Lite has a slightly longer barrel at 3.2 inches, and a silver finish, yet still a scandium L frame. Shoot the heck out of it and enjoy it...

Thanks guys. I'm happy so far and got lucky on the accessory deals. I may change out the front sight to a tritium dot and I'd like to eventually get some maple wood grips, although the stock rubber grips feel good in hand.

G-man, I already called the guy to inquire about purchasing another holster as a backup. He said the store is almost all packed up so he's not sure he can find another one. If I can get one I'll certainly give you a hollar. Heck for the price I may buy 2 or 3 more.

If it's any consolation my Don Hume model is H-721 #7 (2.5" - 2.75"). This one has the hidden belt loops. The H721 #1 has open loops also with the thumb break. They cost around $50 from internet dealers.
