Cool....love those Airweights.

Got one in my pocket right now that I've been toting around all afternoon running errands.

I like the looks of the R1. I haven't seen one yet in the stores. I really do like the 3-dot sights used on it vs. the mil spec models.

The Wooden Diamonds on your 642 look like a pair of Ferragamos on a Black Label Armani..!!

6pack, we share similar tastes.

I carry the j frame daily. The R1 is my first 1911 style handgun, the price was right compared to some other manufacturers. I really like the looks and feel of it. The sights are good visually, however, there is no adjustment for elevation so I will most likely replace them.

You need a Tyler T grips on those "old school" grips!

SJshooter, I agree on the T grips. There are a couple things I'm getting for the 1911 first, then on to the J frame.
