Default Speedloader for a 6 shot Model 617

Does the HKS 22-K Speedloader work with a 6 shot 617? It works with the K-22, Model 17 & 18, so I assume it would, but can someone confirm that? I would think that the 617 cylinder has the same dimensions, but I could certainly be wrong about that.

Yes. I have a couple and they work fine with my 6 shot 617s.

I will second the use of the DS10Speed loaders for 22's. Dave makes them for both the 6 and 10 shot K-frame as well as the 6 shot J-frame.

Thanks for the recommendation. I really just want a speedloader for convenience at the range, so $9.50 for an HKS is a little more attractive, but I sent Dave an email about getting a loading block. For the price I'd rather buy one of his blocks than try to make my own.
