Default J Frame 442 -- A Different Look -- Share Some Pics

Anyone out there do this little modification? Kinda fun and does offer a very interesting overall look. Anyone out there care to share their modifications to the 442?

Pardon my ignorance of 442's, but what exactly did you modify?

Default Note the Side Plate Fastners

Put stainless fasteners in place of the black. Just call me wacky.

I've got a stainless thumbpiece I was thinking of swapping onto my black 442 to try for a similar look but decided against it. If that sounds like something you'd be interested in for the other side of yours, let me know.

Does looka kinda neat.

I like the matte finish on my 442. I'd love to have the same finish on other guns. I've got a used LEO trade in P226 coming in soon. This gun will most likely become my carry auto. I may send it to CCR or CC for a simular finish on the fram/slide...maybe a stainless look on the trigger/controls. We'll see.

Love that little 442. It's such a perfect BUG in many ways.

I think it looks cool. I really like the contrast.
